Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching! We honestly don’t usually exchange gifts. I’d like to think..I’m the gift! Ha!
We just booked tickets to Florida so I’m sure that’s going to be our gifts for the rest of the year! I already asked Derek what he was getting me for my birthday and his response was, “tickets to Florida”. It really is a great gift though. Florida sounds even more appealing as a pile of snow pants, jackets, mittens and hats sit in a pile; wet from the snow the boys played in earlier today! SO MUCH SNOW!
There are so many gifts I’ve thought about though that I would do for my love on the day of love! I’ve compiled a list of 15 Valentine’s gifts for men!
Sonicare Toothbrush: We both have Sonicare toothbrushes and loooove them. I swear Derek’s is from the 90s so I’d love to get him a new one! I love his because it has a battery, mine actually sits on a charging base and plugs into the wall!
UGG House Slippers: I got these for Derek for Christmas one year and they’re the best! They honestly aren’t his style (he wears tennis shoes a lot), but he does wear these to quickly slip on and go grab the paper or the mail!
Photo Album: Ever since I watched Marie Kondo’s Netflix series, I’ve been fixated on the fact that we need more photo albums lying around the house. I’m definitely snagging one of these so that the boys can look through pictures with us!
Ruched Throw: Pottery Barn blankets are by far my favorite blankets. They wash SO well! We still have one from when we got married, so almost 7 years! You would have no idea it was that old and I wash it ALL the time with kids.
Leather Toiletry Case: For all you ladies who have to watch your man carry his bathroom items in a plastic sack to go stay somewhere..this one is for you (and me)! I feel like this would be more of a gift for myself!
Vintage Poker Set: I know nothing about poker, but one time I took an Intro to Texas Holdem class in college and got so far in our “final” because no one could tell if I was bluffing because I didn’t know if I was bluffing! Derek loves poker though and I love that this is a vintage set!
Putting Green: We’re eventually going to turn part of our basement into a “man cave”, and by we I mean my husband. Anyway, this would be the perfect addition to his man cave! I can just imagine his guy friends coming over and having fun with this putting green!
Monopoly Luxury-Edition: I have always loved playing games. This Monopoly game has been on my wishlist for as long as I can remember! I love the coloring of it, the storage drawers, the vintage look, etc. It definitely will be a present for our family this year!
Yeti Tumbler: We love our Yeti’s so much! Derek always fills his with Dr. Pepper! Definitely a must have on any guy’s list!
Folding Knife: My friend Janell sent me this idea and I thought it was so good! These have amazing reviews and I love that they’re compact so they can fit anywhere just in case!
Breakfast Sandwich Maker: She also sent me this one, and ever since I looked at it I’ve been craving a breakfast sandwich! These have amazing reviews as well and would be such a great gift!
Popcorn Bowl: Ours just came in the mail last week and I love it so much that I was going to do a post on it! I love it’s simplicity and we eat popcorn almost every day/night. It’s a little classier than our Tupperware bowl, but I’ve noticed that it doesn’t get spilt as much either!
Beard Grooming Kit: I love my husband with a beard, but the only time he grows one is when he does an Easter play with other men from his hometown. Maybe if I snag him this it’ll be a subtle hint for him to start growing one!
Bathroom Reader: We have had quite a few of Uncle John’s bathroom readers at our house over the years. They are such a great book to leave in a basket in the bathroom. Remember the days when people used to read shampoo bottles, lotion bottles, etc. because they didn’t have their phone to read? Grab one of these just in case his phone is ever dead!
There are so many great gifts for men out there! It was hard narrowing it down, but I truly feel like these would be my husband’s favorite gifts. What gifts are you eying this year? Share with us below!
I’m off to bed. I completely decluttered one of our living rooms and had blankets spread out on the floor. Both the older boys fell asleep and I think it’s fun that this space now seems so welcoming. I think I’ll fall asleep down here too while it’s clean and cozy!
